A very busy but excellent 4 star campsite located close to the local Sud Vendee beaches
(700 metres) and coastal towns of Jard, Longeville and La Tranche.
20 kms from Sables D'Olonne.
Good access roads but narrow in places, to site and on site.
Best route in we found was via the N160 passed La Roche Sur Yon then take D21 to the site. Other roads in looked very narrow and with blind bends.
Roads on site were good but a large outfit would find it tricky to pitch but not impossible. Thankfully our motor mover earned its' money here for me.
Approx half the site were mobile holiday statics and half were for touring.
Hedged pitch sizes vary from a small 60msq to 100msq and are slightly sloping and part shaded.
Electric hook ups are ample, reverse polarity and of the 3 pin Euro type.
Mains water tap and waste by the well maintained, modern, well appointed and very clean shower blocks.
The feature of this site is the fabulous heated swimming pool and new 2007 aqua-park complex which is excellent. There are slides, bubble pools, lazy rivers, indoor section, and more. It has all been nicely landscaped with ample sun bathing areas and sun beds.
Modern reception area with friendly and helpful staff but try to avoid busy Saturday change over days where the queues for reception were long.
Modern and nice bars, restaurants, site shop, laundrette, kids clubs, play areas, Petanque, bouncy castles, tennis, to name but a few.
This site well caters for couples and families of all ages.
We stayed on site with our daughter, husband and two Grandkids and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We would all highly recommend this site.
